Bronson Pediatrics at Stadium Dr. in Kalamazoo is seeking a Practice Support Assistant (Clinic Receptionist) for full-time, 40 hrs/wk. You will greet patients, answer phones, process registrations, verify insurance, and support office operations with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience; experience with medical insurance is preferred. Strong communication, math skills, and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience required.
• Previous experience working with medical insurance highly preferred.
• Must have keyboarding and computer skills, the ability to file accurately, possess professional communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and confirm demographic and insurance information.
• Complete required fields in the practice management system.
• Determine patient co-payments and collect payments.
• Enter charges into MISYS/Tiger or other system and prepare encounter forms.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, tests, and referrals per provider guidance.
• Answer phones, route calls, and relay information professionally.
• Maintain patient records according to current standards and confidentiality.
