Spring Branch Community Health Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Pediatrician to provide direct medical care for patients from birth through 21 years, including history review, exams, counseling, diagnosis and treatment within established protocols.

The physician will supervise midlevel providers and students, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure timely charting, and support family education and follow-up planning to deliver high-quality care in the community.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Current unrestricted Texas medical license to practice.
• BLS certification or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a health center or similar setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides outpatient medical care in the clinic.
• Maintains medical expertise and competency as well as demonstrates a thorough knowledge of procedures to deliver quality primary medical care.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients for appropriate specialty care services.
• Prescribe medications and make recommendations for other forms of treatment.
• Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient seen in accordance with health center policies.
• Completes patient charts as required by health center rules within 72 hours.
• Collaborates with the Chief Medical Director and team to assess patient needs.
• Provides clinical direction and supervision to mid-level providers and students.
