Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one pediatric home nursing in Cleveland, NC. Work includes night shifts (11 PM–7 AM) with flexible full-time or part-time options.

You will care for a child at home, manage tracheostomy and ventilator needs, and administer G-tube feedings and medications. Join a dedicated nursing team with a focus on safety, documentation in the EHR, and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator experience required.
• G-tube care experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and family-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to a pediatric patient at home.
• Perform tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
• Provide G-tube care, feedings, and medications as ordered.
• Monitor the patient’s condition and respond to changes.
• Follow the plan of care and emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and communicate with family and clinical team.

Description

First Day Homecare is looking for compassionate, dependable RNs and LPNs to provide one‑on‑one nursing care to a pediatric patient in the comfort of their home in Cleveland, NC.

We’re building a dedicated nursing team and offer flexible scheduling for nurses interested in full‑time or part‑time opportunities.

Available Schedules

• Weeknights: Monday–Thursday, 11 PM–7 AM (32 hours per week)
• Weekends: Friday–Saturday, 11 PM–7 AM (16 hours per week)
• Flexible Options: Interested in additional hours? We’re open to discussing a schedule that works for you.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized nursing care to a pediatric patient at home.
• Perform tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
• Provide G‑tube care, feedings, and medications as ordered.
• Monitor the patient’s condition and respond appropriately to changes.
• Follow the plan of care and established emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and communicate with the family and clinical team.

What We’re Looking For

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Previous pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator management experience required.
• G‑tube experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and a compassionate, family-centered approach.
