Job summary

First Day Homecare in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for pediatric homecare with cardiac nursing experience. This role involves one-on-one patient care at the home, monitoring conditions and providing cardiac-related services, oxygen therapy, and NG-tube care as ordered.

The nurse will administer meds, document care accurately, and collaborate with the family and clinical team, building a trusting relationship and celebrating milestones with the patient and family.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Cardiac nursing experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Pediatric experience and NG-tube care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and a compassionate, family-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the patient’s home.
• Monitor the patient’s condition and provide cardiac-related care as ordered.
• Provide oxygen therapy and NG-tube care according to the plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with the family and clinical team.
• Build a trusting relationship with the family and celebrate the patient’s progress and milestones.

Schedule: 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, and Saturdays
