Job summary

KidMed is hiring a Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician to support pediatric urgent care. You will document charts, take vitals, and help collect lab samples while keeping rooms clean and sterile. You will ensure patients and caregivers are treated with respect and dignity.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and current BLS certification; 1 year pediatrics or urgent care experience is preferred, with certification from an approved Medical Assisting program also valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year pediatrics experience preferred.
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document charts and take patient vitals.
• Ensure patient rooms are clean and sterile.
• Obtain lab samples and assist providers.
• Treat patients and caregivers with respect and dignity.
