Job summary

KidMedVA in Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician to support our pediatric urgent care team. You will document charts, take vitals, and help keep rooms clean and sterile while assisting providers in delivering high-quality pediatric care.

You will ensure patients and their caregivers are treated with respect and dignity, with a focus on compassionate service. Prior pediatric experience and BLS are preferred; additional medical assisting certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year experience in pediatrics (preferred).
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience (preferred).
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Document charts and take patient vitals.
• Obtain lab samples and keep patient rooms clean and sterile.
• Assist medical providers in delivering pediatric care.
• Treat patients and caregivers with respect and dignity.
