Job summary

KidMed Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician to support pediatric care. You will document charts, take vitals, keep rooms clean and sterile, and collect lab samples while ensuring patients and their caregivers are treated with respect and dignity.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and experience in pediatrics or urgent care; certification from a Medical Assisting program is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Position

The Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician will assist our medical providers in providing quality care to our pediatric patients. You will perform tasks that are instrumental to the success of KidMed; Documenting charts, taking patient vitals, ensuring that patients rooms remain clean and sterile, and obtaining lab samples (to name only a few of the duties).

Most importantly, you will ensure that our patients and that their caregivers are treated with respect and dignity.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One year experience in pediatrics (preferred)
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience (preferred)
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program (preferred)
