Job summary

KidMed Urgent Care in Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Lab Technician to support our pediatric patients. You will document charts, take vitals, keep rooms clean and sterile, and obtain lab samples as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and pediatric experience; certification from a medical assisting program is a plus. We offer benefits and growth opportunities in a caring, family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year experience in pediatrics (preferred).
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience (preferred).
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Documenting charts.
• Taking patient vitals.
• Ensuring patient rooms remain clean and sterile.
• Obtaining lab samples.
• Treating patients and caregivers with respect and dignity.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Medical Assisting program certification

Pediatrics experience

Emergency/Urgent Care experience
