Job summary

KidMed Urgent Care in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a Patient Care/Lab Technician to support our pediatric team in providing compassionate urgent care. You will document charts, take vitals, and assist with obtaining lab samples to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate results.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and experience in pediatrics or urgent care. We offer full benefits, a 401k, and generous PTO to support our caregivers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year pediatrics experience preferred.
• Emergency/Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Certification from an approved Medical Assisting program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document charts and patient information.
• Take patient vitals and monitor during visits.
• Keep patient rooms clean and sterile.
• Obtain lab specimens as needed.
• Treat patients and caregivers with respect and dignity.
