This role emphasizes patient care within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience as a medical assistant, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of EKG placement and processing in children.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab, and venipuncture.
• Professional and friendly demeanor; strong communications and organizational skills.
• Prior pediatric experience; capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Assist in performing quality control testing in the lab.
• Keep exam rooms and front reception stocked with adequate supplies.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the waiting room area.
• Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies and notifying medical team.
