Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a pediatric urgent care setting. You will greet patients, obtain histories and vitals, prepare for X-rays, and assist with labs and wounds care under physician supervision.

You will help keep exam rooms and the waiting area stocked, follow safety procedures, and support the care team in emergencies while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients upon arrival.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with lab tests.
• Assist in wounds care and bugling with labs and quality control testing.
• Maintain exam rooms and front desk areas.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow policies.
