Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric urgent care operations. You will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, greet patients, collect medical histories and vital signs, and prepare patients for imaging and basic lab work under physician supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient confidentiality, and delivering compassionate care to children and families. Prior pediatric experience is preferred and full-time on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience or education.
• Knowledge of EKG placement and processing in children.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs; venipuncture experience preferred.
• Assist in patient care within the scope of practice.
