Job summary

Care for Kids is hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) or LVNs for our Cy-Fair offices in Texas. You will perform triage, assist providers, handle front desk tasks, and support patient care in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children.
• Experience in a Pediatric Office, Pediatric Hospital, or Urgent Care within the past 3 years, with a minimum duration of 6 months.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Texas license.
• BLS certification required (online renewal accepted).
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, basic clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, and EMR software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival.
• Communicate with the provider when the patient is ready, summarizing symptoms and vitals.
• Document visits in the EMR system (eMDs).
• Assist the provider with procedures and patient care (splinting, radiology, vaccines, etc.).
• Administer and document medications as directed by the provider.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
• Obtain lab samples and follow up with patients after results.
