Job summary

Care for Kids in Houston is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our urgent care and primary care clinics. You’ll perform front desk tasks as well as clinical duties under supervision, contributing to fast, friendly care for kids.

Ideal candidates have CMA or LVN credentials, Texas license, BLS, and experience in pediatric settings. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k), PTO, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• CMA or LVN with Texas license and BLS certification required.
• Experience in urgent care or pediatric settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival and communicate with the provider.
• Document visits in the EMR system (eMDs).
• Assist with procedures, vaccines, phlebotomy, radiology support.
• Administer and document medications per provider orders.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain exam/treatment rooms.
• Handle front office tasks: insurance verification, patient registration, payments.
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow-ups.
