Job summary

Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, a member of WMCHealth, is seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as pediatric trauma program manager for our Pediatric Level I Trauma Program in Valhalla, NY.

As program manager, you will lead the clinical, operational and strategic direction, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, drive quality improvement through protocols and outcomes, ensure compliance, and develop education to advance pediatric trauma care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing, nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Current New York State RN, NP or PA license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• At least six years of professional clinical experience, including three years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

• Lead initiatives to enhance and grow the Pediatric Level I Trauma Program.
• Promote collaboration and best practices across the multidisciplinary trauma team.
• Drive quality improvement through evaluation of protocols, processes, data and patient outcomes.

We're looking for a strong clinical leader who understands both the complexity of pediatric trauma care and the importance of building the teams, processes and standards behind it. Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing, nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Current New York State RN, NP or PA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• At least six (6) years of professional clinical experience, including three years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, clinical care protocols and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• The ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful improvements in care
• Experience developing and executing strategies for program growth and enhancement
