Job summary

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as a pediatric trauma program manager for our Pediatric Level I Trauma Program in Valhalla, NY.

You will guide the clinical, operational and strategic direction, collaborating across disciplines to strengthen care delivery, evaluate outcomes and drive progress toward improved pediatric care and compliant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing, nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Current New York State RN, NP or PA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• At least six (6) years of professional clinical experience, including three years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, clinical care protocols and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• The ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful improvements in care
• Experience developing and executing strategies for program growth and enhancement

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance and grow the Pediatric Level I Trauma Program
• Promote collaboration and best practices across the multidisciplinary trauma team
• Drive quality improvement through the evaluation of protocols, processes, data and patient outcomes
• Support continued compliance with state, federal and accreditation requirements
• Develop education that strengthens pediatric trauma knowledge and clinical practice
• Build relationships across departments, healthcare providers and community organizations
• Advocate for pediatric trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care
• Use data and performance trends to identify opportunities to improve quality, safety and outcomes
