Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Orlando is seeking an experienced Trauma Program Manager to lead the pediatric trauma program and collaborate with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure high-quality care and compliance with state standards.

The role oversees operations, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives, while guiding education and outreach related to trauma services within the community.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of emergency and trauma experience; trauma system experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, development, and daily operations of the pediatric trauma program.
• Partner with the Trauma Medical Director to maintain compliance with Florida Department of Health standards.
• Develop and manage the program’s operational budget.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on quality outcomes and patient safety.
• Oversee trauma policies, protocols, and registry documentation.
• Provide leadership for professional education and community outreach related to trauma services.
• Participate in local, regional, and state trauma system activities.
