American Trauma Society Inc. seeks a Trauma Program Director to lead the trauma service line, partnering with the Trauma Medical Director and hospital leadership to assure optimal patient care, quality outcomes, and compliance with local, state, and national standards for trauma center designation and verification.

The role requires a Florida-licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), BLS and ACLS, trauma certifications, and at least three years in critical care

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or recognized Compact Licensure
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment
• Trauma-focused certifications preferred (TCRN, CEN, CCRN)
• Three years of nursing experience in inpatient critical care/trauma ICU
• Background in trauma system management essential

Responsibilities

• Lead trauma program in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director and hospital leadership
• Ensure optimal trauma patient care services and quality outcomes
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and national standards for Trauma Center designation and verification
