Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Transport Respiratory Therapist to join the mobile transport team. The role emphasizes safe pre-hospital and in-transit care for critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients, with expertise in neonatal and pediatric critical care respiratory practices.

The Transport RT will work with Nurses and EMTs, require on-call availability, and may be based at Main Campus or off-campus bases depending on volume and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Minimum of two (2) years current PICU/CICU/NICU experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) and Washington State RCP license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-transport and in-transit patient care including basic and advanced life support.
• Operate within ambulance/aircraft transport settings with pediatric/neonatal considerations.
• Collaborate with Nurses and EMTs on the mobile transport team; be available for on-call shifts.
