Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Respiratory Therapy
• Experience in critical care settings, pediatric or neonatal
• Current Texas RCP license and BLS certification
• Ability to obtain required transport credentials within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care for critically ill patients during transport
• Provide therapeutic interventions and emergency care as needed
• Determine parameters for ventilation and monitor with ABG, ETCO2 and SpO2
• Maintain accurate patient care records and communicate with medical control
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe transport and patient outcomes
