Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Transport RN for the 0.9 FTE night shift (6PM–6AM) with float duties across Main Hospital, Everett North Clinic, and Federal Way South Clinic. The role requires a BSN or equivalent nursing education, and at least three years of critical care transport or pediatric critical care experience.

As a Transport Team lead, you will supervise RNs, RTs, and EMTs on mobile transports, coordinate care during transit, and respond to call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years recent Critical Care Transport, pediatric critical care (PICU, CICU or other relevant unit), Emergency Department (ED) or NICU experience, at a 6.FTE or greater.
• Washington State RN license required; ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP certifications per policy.
• Must carry important documents on transports and be available for call.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient transport to medical facilities with basic and advanced life support.
• Lead the mobile transport team and supervise other RNs, RTs, or EMTs as needed.
• Coordinate care across multiple locations (Main Campus, Everett North Clinic, Federal Way South Clinic).
• Maintain compliance with state scope of practice and hospital policies.
