Job summary

Advocate Health, Inc. in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for interfacility transport of neonatal and pediatric patients. The role requires providing comprehensive respiratory care in mobile environments and collaborating with TMCP.

You will operate ground, rotor, and fixed-wing transport, participate in 24/7 coverage including night shifts, and contribute to safety, quality, and education within the transport team. A sign-on bonus and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of neonatal/pediatric respiratory experience.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
• Interfacility transport experience preferred.
• Ability to work 3rd shift/night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide interfacility respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and select adults during transport.
• Ensure safety and quality of care; manage medications and airway per TMCP protocols.
• Operate transport equipment across ground, rotor, and fixed wing.
• Coordinate transport requests, bed placement, and communication with facilities.
• Participate in professional development and leadership within the team.
