Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• 2-5 years of pediatric/neonatal critical care RT experience preferred.
• Licenses and certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS, NPS.
• Strong critical thinking, technical skills, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Delivering care to acutely and critically ill patients, including ventilatory support, therapies, and education for patients and families.
• Demonstrating technical proficiency in complex respiratory interventions, serving on specialty teams such as ECMO, bronchoscopy, or transport teams.
• Evaluating patient responses, modifying treatments, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and revise care plans based on patient status.
• Participating in professional development to enhance skills and quality of care.
