Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Waxahachie, TX is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LPN) to support medically fragile children at home. Qualifications
- Active Texas RN or LVN/LPN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to lift and assist pediatric patients.
- Experience with Trach care and ventilator management.
- High-acuity pediatric patients preferred.
- Emergency response management.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled pediatric nursing in patients' homes.
- Assess and administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Support hospital-to-home transitions for high-acuity patients.
- Educate and support parents, families, and caregivers.
- Assist with discharge planning and care coordination.
- Train and support permanent field nurses during transitions.
- Provide first-shift and interim coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with Clinical Care Managers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
