Job description

Pediatric Clinical Supervisor, OT/PT/SLP

Northern Virginia | Full-Time | $90,000–$105,000

Lead Clinically. Stay Connected to the Work You Love.

Maybe you enjoy treating children and families, but you have also discovered that some of your most meaningful work happens when you are helping other clinicians grow.

At Premier Pediatric Therapy Source, we are looking for an experienced pediatric OT, PT, or SLP who wants to do both.

Our Clinical Supervisor maintains a reduced pediatric caseload while providing day-to-day leadership and support to our clinical team. You will have dedicated time within your workweek for supervision, clinician development, onboarding, quality improvement, and collaboration with our leadership team.

This is an opportunity to take the next step in your leadership career without having to choose between being a clinician and becoming a full-time administrator.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide supportive, consistent supervision to members of the clinical team.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews that help clinicians continue growing.
  • Coach therapists through clinical, professional, and team-related challenges.
  • Support strong clinical standards, documentation quality, and family-centered care.
  • Oversee the clinical portion of new therapist onboarding.
  • Partner with Clinical Specialists and experienced clinicians who provide discipline-specific mentorship and case consultation.
  • Participate in interviewing and selecting new clinical team members.
  • Identify opportunities for training, professional development, and clinical improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and leadership team on issues affecting clinicians and service delivery.
  • Maintain a reduced pediatric caseload within your licensed discipline.
What You Can Expect
Protected leadership time.

Supervision is part of the job, not something we expect you to fit in around a full therapist caseload.

A role that keeps you clinically connected.

You can continue working directly with children and families while expanding your impact through leadership.

Clear leadership boundaries.

You will lead the clinical team without being expected to manage billing, payer issues, administrative operations, or every aspect of the business.

A team-based leadership model.

You will work alongside our Practice Manager, Business Officer, Clinical Specialist, and executive leadership rather than carrying clinical leadership alone.

Room to grow.

This role is designed for someone who wants to deepen your leadership experience while continuing to develop professionally and clinically.

What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Virginia license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
  • Approximately 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience.
  • Prior supervisory, team-lead, or people-leadership experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing both encouragement and clear, constructive feedback.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining appropriate leadership boundaries.
  • Experience with mentorship, onboarding, clinical quality, or staff development preferred.
  • Collaborative, thoughtful, organized, and solutions-focused approach to leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000–$105,000 annually

Based on experience, leadership background, clinical expertise, and qualifications.

Benefits Include
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Continuing education reimbursement
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Leadership and professional-development opportunities
Why Premier?

Choosing a leadership role is different from choosing your next clinical position. You are not only considering where you want to work, but also the kind of leader you want to become.

At Premier, we believe good clinical leadership should create clarity, support growth, strengthen teams, and still leave room for leaders to remain connected to the children and families at the center of the work.

If you are ready to expand your impact while continuing to practice clinically, we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you.
