Job summary

SOL Mental Health is seeking a licensed clinical social worker supervisor for the DC Metro region. You will lead clinical supervision, ensure policy implementation, and support a team while maintaining clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates hold an LCSW in VA, are Board Certified Supervisors, and bring 3–5 years of post‑graduate experience with leadership capabilities within an integrated care setting.

Qualifications

• Active, independent LCSW license in Virginia (VA).
• Board Certified Supervisor in VA required.
• 3–5 years post‑graduate clinical experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Interest in collaborative team environment and leadership.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and implement policies and initiatives to the therapy team.
• Partner with Practice Manager to address operational challenges affecting care and patient experience.
• Facilitate effective communication between clinicians and support staff.
• Coordinate care transitions and referrals within SOL and with external providers.
• Maintain a reduced caseload to balance leadership duties and clinical skills.
• Provide coaching and support to clinicians.
• Participate in the hiring process and identify training needs.
• Lead case consultation sessions.
• Provide supervision to associate and licensed therapists; manage a therapist cohort.

What You Bring

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of communicating and implementing company and clinical policies, procedures, and initiatives to the therapy team
• Partner with the Practice Manager to address day-to-day operational challenges affecting clinical care and patient experience
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between clinicians and support staff
• Coordinate care transitions and referrals within the SOL system and with external providers
• Maintain a reduced caseload to ensure time for leadership responsibilities whilemaintainingclinical skills
• Provide coaching and support
• Participate in the hiring process
• Identifytraining needs for clinical team members
• Lead case consultation sessions

This role includes providing clinical supervision to both associate and licensed therapists, as well as direct management of a designated therapist cohort. In addition, all SOL Therapy Supervisors willmaintaina caseload and provide direct patient care.
