Position Title: Clinical Manager - Pediatric Therapy (OT, PT, SLP)

Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, driven, and strategic Clinical Manager to lead our vibrant, high-volume pediatric therapy practices across our two clinic locations.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-quality patient care and operational performance. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP). The ideal candidate is a natural motivator who can foster team culture, identify unmet clinical needs in our community, optimize clinician productivity, and directly contribute to practice growth and revenue optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Leadership & Team Motivation
- Culture & Retention: Build a supportive, engaging environment that boosts morale, reduces clinician burnout, and promotes retention.
- Mentorship: Provide clinical guidance, regular 1-on-1 coaching, and structured professional development for therapists across OT, PT, and SLP disciplines.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Drive effective co-treatments, multidisciplinary evaluations, and cross-referrals between OT, PT, and SLP to provide comprehensive care plans.
2. Service Gap Identification & Program Development
- Market Expansion: Identify underserved pediatric conditions, specialty niches (e.g., feeding therapy, sensory integration, intensive PT programs, AAC), or age groups to introduce new high-demand clinical programs.
- Waitlist Optimization: Analyze clinic waitlists across both locations to identify demand surpluses and match therapist capacity accordingly.
3. Operational Excellence & Revenue Growth
- Productivity Management: Track and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), including therapist billable units, schedule utilization rates, cancellation mitigation, and documentation timeliness.
- Capacity & Scheduling Strategy: Oversee clinic scheduling workflows across both sites to maximize room and therapist utilization.
- Multi-Site Oversight: Balance weekly physical presence between both clinic locations to maintain operational consistency and strong team alignment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Clinical Credential: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) active in PA (preferred), OR a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) / Healthcare Leadership with significant pediatric therapy management experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of pediatric clinical experience in OT, PT, or SLP.
- Minimum 2+ years in a leadership, management, or supervisory role within an outpatient setting.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in improving clinician productivity, launching new programs, or driving clinic revenue growth.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Pediatric EMR systems, schedule management tools, and healthcare analytics dashboards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Clinician Retention & Engagement: Low staff turnover and high employee satisfaction scores across both locations.
- Clinic Utilization & Revenue: Achieving targeted billable hours and revenue benchmarks across OT, PT, and SLP departments.
- Cross-Referral Rate: Increasing the percentage of single-discipline patients evaluated for co-occurring therapy needs.
