Dayton Children's is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the pediatric intraoperative team. You will assist the surgeon using AORN/OSA standards, maintain sterile technique, and prepare instruments appropriate for children.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy. You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and provide courteous service to patients and families.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology school.
• Certification or completion in Surgical Technology required or within 2 weeks.
• CPR preferred at hire or obtained shortly after start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the surgeon in the pediatric intraoperative phase following AORN/OSA standards.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare age-appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide customer service to patients, families, nurses and physicians.
• Flexibly support main and south campus operations; be a team player.
