Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year scheduling and registration experience in a healthcare setting using a computerized scheduling system OR 2 years of front office experience OR 1 year experience in a high volume call center in customer service related industry
• High School diploma or GED Education
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer software, ie Microsoft products
• Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people & answering a multiple phone lines
• Knowledge of Government and Commercial insurance systems

Responsibilities

• Schedule complex procedures and appointments and ensure complete information is obtained.
• Facilitate scheduling and registration processes and optimize efficiencies and workflows.
• Liaise with departments including registration, admitting, diagnostics, radiology, inpatient units, and financial coordinators to ensure accurate and timely scheduling.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations per department protocols and assist front office coverage as needed
