• Minimum Experience: 2 years in a hospital or medical business office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, schedules and registers patients for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, diagnostic testing/labs, and general office visits.
• Interacts with physicians, patients, families, insurance carriers and staff to ensure accurate documentation and scheduling.
• Obtains insurance authorizations and referrals as needed and explains financial responsibilities to patients.
