Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Scheduling & Billing Specialist for the Physician Practice – Pediatric Surgery. The Scheduler coordinates and schedules patient testing and procedures, interfaces with physician offices and staff, and enters data into the system to support efficient care delivery.

The role requires attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to communicate scheduling needs clearly. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with preference for an associate degree in business

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in business, Healthcare, or related field is preferred.
• 2 years scheduling and payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules patient testing and procedures.
• Enters patient data into the computer system and completes general office work.
• Interacts with physician offices, other health care providers and staff to ensure timely scheduling.
• Prepares, posts, and distributes daily schedules and communicates changes.
• Verifies patient information, orders, diagnoses and clinical history in the system.

Education
