The role focuses on coordinating and scheduling patient testing and procedures, interfacing with physician offices and care teams, and ensuring accurate data entry and routine office tasks are completed efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred, and about 2 years of scheduling and payroll experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
• 2 years scheduling and payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules patient testing and procedures, contacting physician offices and staff to align next day’s schedule.
• Enters patient data into the computer system and performs general office tasks as needed.
• May serve as receptionist for patients and interact with care teams.
• Verifies patient information, equipment needs, and special requests; communicates with staff accordingly.
• Maintains accurate patient records and prepares daily census statistics and reports.
