Qualifications

• Pediatric experience in school or clinical settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech therapy practices for children with disabilities.
• Excellent patient care and comprehensive assessment skills.
• Understanding of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including early intervention strategies.
• Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions in-person or via telehealth.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and educators to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
• Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home and in daily activities.
• Stay current with advances in pediatric speech therapy techniques.
