Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grayling, MI is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide pediatric outpatient services with some adult cases. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a community health outpatient setting.

Formación

• M.S. or M.A. in Speech Pathology granted by an accredited university program.
• Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing or is in Clinical Fellowship Year. Licensure requirements should be met according to state laws. In addition, SLP-CCC is required for Medicaid billing in certain states.
• Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol.

Responsabilidades

• Document patient status and progress through initial evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to internal/external time standards.
• Communicate with others to integrate speech language pathology services with all aspects of patient care.
• Instruct patients and families in speech language pathology procedures including written instructions as necessary.
• Attend meetings and in-services as designated.
• Meet or exceed program productivity expectations.
