Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and services within license scope and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate patient condition and establish treatment goals with patient and family.
• Develop and revise written treatment plans and discharge plans.
• Coordinate with treatment team to integrate speech-language pathology into overall care.
• Instruct patient and family in speech-language pathology procedures and home programs.
• Document progress per standards and reimbursement guidelines.
• Participate in program development, research activities, and quality improvement.
