Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, planning and treatment for neonatal through adolescence patients.

You will address speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, feeding and swallowing within a family-centered care framework. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, pediatric experience and ASHA credentials or CFY; AZ licensing and BLS are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Specialty training in pediatric dysphagia, feeding, language, AAC, neuro, developmental or other pediatric areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, feeding and swallowing.
• Develops age-appropriate treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Involves families in discussion and home program implementation.
• Maintains documentation and adheres to standards of care and regulatory guidelines.
