Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for pediatric home-based cases in Staten Island. We offer a base salary of $125,000.00 plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401k after 3 months, 27 PTO days, 10 holidays, and a $100.00 30-minute session rate.

Weekend caseload option and door-to-door driver service are available. Positions available: Part-time and Full-time.

Qualifications

Currently licensed in New York State as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
ASHA certification or clinical certification in Speech.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the speech and language rehabilitation needs and provide rehabilitative services as ordered by the physician.
Perform clinical tests to assess disorders and develop a plan of care with goals.
Deliver Speech-Language Pathology procedures to meet identified goals.
Instruct patients and family in the use of modalities and procedures.
Maintain patient records including treatments, progress and discharge summaries.
Collaborate with health team to improve recovery and manage residual disability.
Communicate progress with the nurse within 24 hours of initial visit.
Document visit contacts and findings within 24 hours as required.
Communicate with the nurse every two weeks to discuss progress.
Re-evaluate patients as needed and complete progress reports.
