Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for our Bronx home-based pediatric cases. We offer a base salary of $135,000 with full medical and dental insurance, 401k after 3 months, 27 PTO days, 10 holidays, and $100 per 30-minute session as a fee-for-service option.

Position can be part-time or full-time. We provide door-to-door car service and an option to cover caseload on weekends. In-person, with a driver-assisted commute from home to cases and back.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in New York State as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech and language rehabilitation needs and provide services as ordered by medical practitioner.
• Perform clinical tests to assess disorders and develop a plan of care with goals.
• Perform speech-language pathology procedures to achieve identified goals.
• Instruct patients and families in use of assistive modalities and procedures.
• Maintain patient records including treatment details and progress.
• Collaborate with health team to shorten recovery and manage residual disability.
• Communicate findings with nursing staff and provide reports within 24 hours of visits.
• Document visit details and progress in designated forms within 24 hours.
• Re-evaluate patients as needed and provide progress reports and discharge summaries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including emergency duties.
