Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in clients' homes. You will evaluate, treat, and guide families to support communication goals and functional language skills.

The role emphasizes family collaboration, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with office staff. A master's degree, state licensure, and CPR certification are required, with opportunities for professional development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations with focus on receptive and expressive language, fluency, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Attend educational functions and participate in QA/PI programs.
• Participate in continuing education and expand scope of service.
• Maintain adequate caseload with productivity.
• Collaborate with team and mentor students/new hires.
