Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pelham, AL to join a nonprofit outpatient clinic. The position offers a competitive salary, a substantial sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits, with a schedule Mon–Thu 8–5 and Fri 8–2. W-2 Full-Time preferred; 1099 considered.

Eligible clinicians provide one-on-one care, access admin support, and ample paid time off while making a meaningful difference for children and families in the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Alabama SLP license.
• Pediatric speech-language pathology experience required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based intervention for children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to support functional outcomes.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to encourage progress outside of therapy.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and clinic staff to provide consistent, high-quality care.
