Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric therapy services in the home or daytime facility in Texas. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals, with supervision responsibilities for fellows when applicable.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP: Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics is required; home health experience preferred; feeding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions.
• Plan, modify, and adapt care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training, materials, and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.
