Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Maryland is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric therapy team. You will assess, plan, and deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy to children ages 2–6 within an interdisciplinary early intervention model that uses the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive compensation range from $86,000 to $108,500 per year plus a yearly performance bonus up to $3,800 and opportunities for clinical

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CSD from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
• Integrate communication goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and evolving needs
