Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
• Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, fluency and social communication skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and student needs.
• Provide direct intervention services to students with various communication disorders and delays.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate speech and language goals into the academic curriculum.
• Educate and empower students, families and caregivers on techniques for improving communication and language skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes and treatment plans.
