American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a pediatric close-to-home center with an Emergency Department, working night shifts.

The role involves rotating between a primary facility and a main campus, with a 3x12 hour night schedule (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and potential unit floats as needed per facility policy.

Responsabilidades

• Pediatric close-to-home center setting with an Emergency Department
• Primary location at one facility with a secondary location at the main campus
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• May be required to float to different units depending on assignment needs
• Must be prepared to float to different units as needed, per facility policy
• No call/no-show policy strictly enforced with progressive consequences
• Travelers considered late after 3 minutes
• Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role at the facility within the last 2 years
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Agency changes for contract extensions must occur at least 3 weeks before the end of the current contract

American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech for a pediatric hospital sleep lab, requiring 2+ years of pediatric and acute care experience along with RPSGT certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience required, including both pediatric and acute care hospital experience
• BLS and RPSGT certification required; RRT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic experience required
• Experience with monitoring including End-Tidal CO2, cardiac abnormalities, ECG, EEG, O2 saturation, and periodic limb movement
• Experience conducting PSG, RIP, MWT, MSLT, home sleep tests, newborn PSG with CPAP/BiPAP, and portable sleep studies
• Experience with staging and scoring including arousal, Cheyne-Stokes, complex sleep apnea, hypopnea, and sleep stages
• Experience with titration methods including ASV, BiPAP, CPAP, and VPAP
• Experience with Cadwell and Respironics equipment
• Experience with mask fitting including full face, nasal mask, and nasal pillow
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Strong skills in infection control and patient education

Responsibilities

• Pediatric hospital setting with a sleep lab affiliated with a children's hospital system
• Primary location is a satellite center with a secondary location at the main campus
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Uses Epic charting system
• Floating to different units may be required depending on assignment needs
• Perform sleep studies, monitor patients, and score/stage sleep data across a range of pediatric and adult sleep disorders
• No call/no shows are taken seriously by the facility
• Candidates who have worked permanently for the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• Local candidates are not permitted within a 60-mile radius
