Job summary

TCH Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Sleep Center Technologist to perform night-time sleep studies and document results per facility policy. You will apply electrodes, interpret waveforms, ensure patient safety, and communicate effectively with the neurodiagnostic team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BRPT/RPSGT certifications preferred, completion of STAR or CAAHEP accredited program, and 2 years of pediatric polysomnography experience.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Is Required.
• CAAHEP Accredited Sleep Program is Preferred.
• STAR program BRPT accreditation preferred; STAR program can substitute for experience.
• BLS and RPSGT certifications required/Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Master neurodiagnostic sleep studies for quality results.
• Conduct tests in Neurophysiology lab and inpatient units as required.
• Apply electrodes accurately per international standards.
• Independently interpret waveforms and medical terms.
• Score sleep studies and clinical events professionally.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Seek professional growth and educational opportunities.
• Comply with training requirements and perform assigned tasks.
