Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide polysomnographic testing for patients from newborn to 21 years old, following national standards and delivering safe, compassionate care.

The role requires an active NBRC credential (RRT or CRT), a Georgia license, and BLS within 30 days. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality testing and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC RRT or CRT certification and an active Georgia RCP license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs polysomnographic testing and scoring for patients from newborn to 21 years.
• Monitors patient and family understanding and adherence to testing procedures.
• Identifies and corrects testing quality issues.
• May assist with staff orientation and participate in quality initiatives.
