Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join the interdisciplinary team, evaluating and delivering safe, patient‑centered respiratory care for pediatric patients. The role supports clinical practice, safety, and family engagement while contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualified candidates will hold a Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license, NBRC RRT credential, BLS within 30 days, and PALS within 1 year of employment; 1 year pediatric experience

Qualifications

• Current license in Georgia as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• PALS within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Quality/PI: integrate evidence into clinical judgement and monitor safety.
• Advancing Clinical Practice: deliver age- and family-centered respiratory care across the continuum.
• Influence: supervise unlicensed personnel and educate patients and families.
• Demonstrates commitment and flexibility through change and supports Shared Leadership.
• Personal Development: pursue lifelong learning and maintain competence.
