Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in the Greater Chicago area seeks School-Based Physical Therapists to support students aged 3–21 with physical and developmental challenges.

You will implement IEP-driven treatment plans, collaborate with teachers, SLPs, OTs, and PCPs, and document progress with formal tests and reviews.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Qualifying degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans with functional outcomes for IEPs.
• Consults with Teachers, SLP, OT, PCP to ensure cohesive team.
• Assesses and documents progress through tests and measurements.
• Writes annual review reports and goals per IEP dates.
• Attends school meetings (IEP, Annual Reviews, etc.).
• Provides screenings and evaluations to determine PT intervention needs.
