Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics is seeking a School Based Occupational Therapist to support students aged 3–21 in the greater Chicago area. You will implement therapy plans in schools and collaborate with teachers, SLP, PT, and other staff to support student goals.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, preparing annual reviews, attending IEP meetings, and conducting screenings. We offer mentorship, CEUs, travel opportunities, and competitive benefits for full- and part-time therapists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial NBOT registration and valid state OT license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans with functional outcomes for IEPs.
• Collaborates with teachers, SLP, PT, and PCP to provide cohesive care.
• Assesses and documents student progress with formal/informal measures.
• Writes annual review reports and goals to meet IEP requirements.
• Attends school meetings including Triennials, Annual Reviews, and pre-IEP meetings.
• Provides screenings and evaluations to determine OT intervention needs in school settings.
