Job summary

Prospect Infosys Inc. is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to evaluate and support students within school settings, classrooms, gyms, and playgrounds.

You will develop individualized goals and plans, deliver services directly or via consult, and collaborate with teachers to embed therapy into daily routines. Strong IEP experience and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current state license or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy, developmental disabilities, and school-based practice.
• Strong communication, organization, assessment, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with IEPs and special education services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ gross motor skills, mobility, balance, strength, coordination, endurance, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized PT goals and intervention plans based on student needs.
• Provide PT services in classroom, therapy setting, playground, gym, and other school environments.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines.
• Monitor progress, document progress, and modify interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records in the IEP system and communicate with families and educational team.
